About Carey

Carey and Carla Hall married in December of 1993 and currently reside in Indianapolis, IN with their three children: Christopher age 19, Colin age 11, and Cruz age 6. Carey began his career in the racing industry in 1994 and has worked for several race teams in the IRL and the now-defunct CART series as a painter, mechanic, fueler, repairman & also designs driver accessories.

In 2005, Carey and Carla opened their own business, Hall's Motorsports Refinishing (HMR). When it comes to racecars, Carey Hall does just about everything but drive them. He paints and repairs them and on race day keeps them running with his skill in the pits specializing as the fueler, most recently for Sarah Fisher Racing.

"I really enjoy what I do - painting the cars, repairing them and getting them all dolled up. Our job is to promote and look good for the show. With the jobs I've had, I guess you could say I'm an artist, a plastic surgeon, and I feed the animal too. I've had a great time." Carey Hall

When Carey's away from the shop, he enjoys spending time with his family (and their dog Chip, of course) riding the Razor, dirt bikes, and four wheelers. He's also an assistant coach for his son, Colin's football team.
